Frequently Asked Questions
Please note these FAQ's only apply to our US races (New England Challenge and Tri-State Challenge). For our races in other countries, please contact us directly for any questions.

Are all your races a Boston Qualifier?Yes, all our races are USATF certified Boston qualifying marathon course. All certification numbers can be found on each challenge page.

Is there a time limit for the marathon?Yes, we have a seven hour time limit. However, if you need a bit more time, please send us a message!

How are your races timed?All our races are chip timed with an RFID tag attached to the back of your race BIB.

Do I need to register for all races in a challenge?Absolutely not! You can register for one, for all or any number in between.

Where do I pick up my race BIB?We have BIB pick up on the day of the race, starting at 5:30AM. You'll find us at the starting line!

What kind of hydration and nutrition do you provide?Some might say that the best part of running our races is the hot food we cook fresh at the race site! So what's on the menu? For breakfast (one or two of the following): Grilled Cheese (with and without ham and egg), Egg & Cheese Burritos (with and without sausage) and Waffles For lunch (two or three of the following): Vegetarian Pesto Pasta Salad, Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Hotdogs with Caramelized Onions, Pork Spring Rolls, Veggie & Tofu Spring Rolls, Chicken Noodle Soup, Vegetarian Chili, Pasta with Meatballs in Red Sauce, Pozole Rojo and more! Plus, of course, our famous chicken empandas! In addition, we also provide daily: chips, cookies, pretzels, energy balls, energy gels, pickles, salted baby potatoes, bananas, oranges and sandwiches (peanut butter & jelly, turkey & cheese and ham & cheese). Please note, we are unable to provide hot food at our Granite State Marathon. In terms of hydration, we have water and gatorade.

How often are your aid stations?All our races are loop courses, so we have one aid station at the start/finish area. However, we do have a secondary aid station that provides hydration for our Granite State Marathon (Nashua, NH) and Maple Leaf Marathon (Fairlee, VT).

Are there port-a-potties at the race?Yes, they can be found by the start/finish area.

What's the swag though?For each race, you will receive a finisher's medal. Whether you sign up for one race, some races or all races, you will receive one race shirt.

When will your host hotels be updated?Our host hotels will be updated in early 2024!

Can I defer for next year? Do you offer refunds?Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or deferrals.

Do you accept race day registration?We are not taking day of registration for our Zip Code 07662 (NJ) races; however, we are taking day of registration for our XCelsior (NY) races. Race day registration for the full marathon is $145, and for the half it is $130. We can only take cash or VENMO. Please arrive at 5:15AM and come to the timing table to fill out a quick registration form.
